How does it work?
For items purchased directly from Stenella Antiques, just let us know what look you desire and we can directly quote and have work completed prior to shipping. Please inquire before purchasing, to ensure we can meet your expectations as far as finishing and delivery time frames.
For customer's own items, please email detailed photos along with dimensions, number of colors and best descriptions as far as finish desired.
Feel free to send photos of examples you may find on the web or in magazines. We are looking to understand exactly what you are after.
Once we have a rough idea of the desired look, our artisan painter will contact you to go over, in detail, to confirm they have a complete understanding of what you desire. We will then be able to get you an exact quote and time frame.
Once the price quoted is accepted, we would require a 50% deposit to begin the work with balance due upon completion. Items would then be available for pickup or schedule in home delivery.
Process and Products used
We only use top quality paints and products by manufactures such as Annie Sloan and Mohawk. We will gladly work with other products upon request or when the project calls for it. Our craftsman and artisans are trained and have extensive experience working with a wide range of products. Our goal is to get the client or customer the desired look or finish they are after.
All work is completed in the artisans painters workshop and not at customers home. This is to ensure the proper controlled environment and cure times for the finishes. All finishes are applied and rubbed out by hand, ensuring that each piece is truly unique and afforded the special attention to detail that goes with a custom finish. Stenella Antiques will handle the transportation from our Perkasie warehouse to the artisans workshop. Items can be picked up and shipped from the Perkasie warehouse upon completion.
Estimates and cost
Individual jobs can vary from something as simple as minor color toning and gilding of the accents on carvings up to a complete repaint of an entire bedroom set and more. It is very difficult to come up with a formula or list of pricing for this service. Every clients needs and wants are different and for that reason, it is best to inquire to get a price quote. I can assure you, that the pricing will be competitive and service will be extraordinary.
