This superb mirror is a faithful copy of an English antique. It features intricate gilded gesso details that accentuate a walnut veneered frame. It is a classic of its Georgian genre. The original dates to circa 1740 and hangs in the Governors Palace in Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area.
